Our October was full of lots of adventure! Conference weekend was spent with family, shoving our faces with delicious food! In the middle of October Parker and I (with Grandma & Grandpa Talley) went to Denver to visit Justus, Kyrsten, Izzy and Max. Then there were the visits to the Instacare and Primary Children's (twice) for a case of the adeno flu that Parker had. His temperature got all the way up to 105! He's a tough little snot though, they said it would last up to 14 days and it was gone in 7. Kiley and I's birthdays were a few days apart and then there was Halloween!
Enjoy our October told in the following pictures:
Gabrie and Parker really played for the first time together over Conference weekend. Parker just followed her around and Gabrie loved every second. They played with puzzles, played on the swingset and took a bath together. Gabrie is such a good big cousin and is going to be a fabulous big sister!
Parker flew on his first plane to Denver. He did really well on the way there. He just kept tickling the guy next to me, luckily he didn't mind and played along back with Parker.
We gave Izzy these new pajamas for her birthday. She posed while I took a picture of her. No, she isn't picking a wedgie, it just looks like it!
Max and Parker in their matching pajamas
We went to the Denver aquarium and it was awesome! Parker LOVED it! He ran from tank to tank just so excited. Everywhere he went he would just point with wide eyes and say, "Ooh! Ooh!"
It was Max's first birthday while we were there, but the poor little guy was getting a tooth and was not happy!
Parker got his first haircut from a real stylist! Aunt Kyrsten did a great job, although Parker wasn't too thrilled.
Making Kiley's birthday dinner.... it didn't really turn out that great!
On Halloween morning we went through the Halloween box and found this cute Santa hat.
Minnie (Gabrie) and Mickey (Parker)
All dressed up and ready to go Trick-or-Treating!
All of the cousins (Ashlyn - Tinker Bell, Sam - Pink Fairy Friend, Gabrie, & Parker)
Parker got the hang of it pretty quick. He was running from house to house!

We got these pictures taken back in July for Parker's 1st birthday. We just finalized everything and got the cd in the mail this last week. We LOVE how they turned out!

If you loved these pictures as much as we did and are interested in who took them go to kristinacurtis.blogspot.com. She is absolutely amazing!

Bear Lake & Other Miscellaneous Events
We went to Bear Lake with Kiley's family for a weekend and had a blast. It was a weekend of playing Muckers, eating excellent food and getting lots of rest! It is so beautiful there, the lake is such a pretty turquoise color.

A Weekend Get Away With The Family
This last weekend my side of the family (excluding the Denver Talley's and the California Talley's, who were missed) went to Park City. We had so much fun! On Friday night we were going to go camping, but as luck would have it, it was stormy in the mountains. Instead of letting the stormy weather get us down we decided that the next best thing would be to camp at Grandma & Grandpa's! To me it was 10 times better then camping in the wilderness. We got to go inside a bathroom that uses a flushable toilet and if the food got cold we just stuck it in the microwave!
On Saturday we headed up to Park City and spent the day doing the Alpine Slide, Roller Coaster and eating Mexican Food! My mom and dad were so great to watch the little ones so that we could go and play! Thanks you guys are the best! We spent our nights playing games, laughing and shoving our faces with lots of sugar.
So a big thank you to mom and dad for making this possible. We enjoyed every second and can't wait to do it again! We love you!

Parker trying to steal a candybar from Samantha. He is always trying to take everything that isn't his. He is becoming such a bully!

Grandma Talley took Parker on his first carousel ride. He had a lot fun for the first 5 minutes but by minute 30 he was a little worn out :)
Riding up to the Alpine Slides.
Parker hanging out with Aunt Darcy.
Samantha had her 1st birthday while we were in Park City. She was so cute sharing her cupcake with everyone! Happy birthday Sammy!
Parker and Gabrie loved the petting zoo on Main Street on Sunday.

Birthdays, Family and Fun!
July was packed full of lots of different things. We celebrated Independence Day, our nation's birthday, Parker's 1st birthday and the 24th of July, our State's birthday. We spent lots of time with our families and our friends and enjoyed every minute. I threw a bridal shower for my good friend Candace. She is having a little boy and I am so excited for Parker to meet his new friend.
Kiley and I had to go in and give Parker some medicine that we had forgotten about. He looked so cute that we had to take a picture before waking him up.
Parker had so much fun on the 4th of July. He loved the fireworks and didn't get at all scared. He just looked at them with wide eyes and fascination. It was so much fun to celebrate his 1st 4th of July and to watch him as he experiences something new.
We threw Parker a 1st birthday party on the 18th. It was so much fun and we were so grateful to our friends and family for their love and support. Here Parker is opening up his first present. He was so excited, even though he wasn't really sure about what was going on.
Parker loves the water, usually. His birthday party was an exception. Anytime I put him in the water he would start to cry. I guess he took the words "It's my party and I can cry if I want to" to heart.
After singing "Happy Birthday" to Parker his cousins helped him blow out the candles.
Needless to say that Parker really enjoyed his first cake experience.

Grandma Talley has this same toy at her house, so on Parker's actual birthday, when he got this toy he was so excited. We couldn't tear him away from it.

May & June Update (Finally!)
Well, for those of you who were wondering or concerned, yes we are still alive. This past 2 months have just been incredibly busy. I had 2 grandparents die within a few weeks of each other and then a procedure done that kept me down for a few days. I figured it was about time for an update, which took me 3 different blog posts and about 30 pictures, which are out of order, So enjoy!
Super Baby!
Me and Mayra
All the girls went and got pedicures!
When we were headed home from Monticello we stopped at Wilson's Arch with Luke, Kellie, and Gabrie. Of course Parker put handfuls of dirt in his mouth when I wasn't looking.
Parker went swimming for his first time and now loves the water!

Continued...
Max and Parker like to play together, who do you think is older? If you guess Parker you would be right, but only by 2 1/2 months!
Parker tried ribs for his first time and loved to chew on the bone.
Kyrsten and I took Max, Izzy and Parker swimming and they all had a blast!
Kiley and I took Parker to the Aquarium and he loved to look at all the fish, he even tried to give them kisses.
My friend Emily and her daughter Ciri came to visit from Florida. I have never seen a baby with so much hair! It was so good to see her, I miss you Emily!
One Sunday afternoon we took Parker to the park by our house, it was his first time at the park and he laughed and loved to play. Kiley and I had a lot of fun too.
On May 30th my Grandma Joan died. It was a long time coming, but was and is still really hard. I am so grateful now that she is no longer in pain and with her husband and others that she loves. This is a picture of me and my cousins Ian and Andrea.
Here we are at the gravesite.
Here are all of her grandkids at the gravesite, it has been years and years since we were all together.
My Aunt Rochelle had so much fun feeding Parker ice cream, they really bonded over dessert.
